Worst KOA experience I've had yet. My wife and I were here recently, scheduled for 4 nights. The night before we arrived, we were camping in Big Bend NP at the Chisos Basin campgrounds. We were hit with a cold front that brough extremely big wind gusts (40-50 mph+) and ended up bending 3 poles and ripping out a portion of the fabric where the ropes attaches to the tent to hold it down in high winds. Park for the most part is fine, we are just passing through and just needed a place to park for the night so it doesn’t matter if it’s close to any attractions . Does have a cafe with some good food choices on the menu we saw that they will deliver to your site. But we didn’t eat there so I can’t say how the food is. WiFi and cable do NOT work and we were told when we asked at check in that they have no idea if we could get WiFi at our site because they don’t know what sites it works at. What!? An employee had their dog in the dog park (3 pit bull). As I was walking my dog on leash one dog broke loose and attacked me and my dog.
