We had a peaceful stay at the Carbondale KOA Holiday. Great location by the river and very quiet. The RV park was clean and the dog park was a big plus. We would definitely stay again.
My girlfriend and I got stuck in bad weather in the middle of a motorcycle road trip in early August of 2024. We were heading south from Carbondale and we were hoping to avoid bad weather but unfortunately had no such luck. We double backed to a KOA we had passed and the hosts, Danny and Belinda, let us come in for a bit to dry off and escape the rain. We sat in there for as long as we could hoping that the rain would pass but ended up having to post up for the night and pitch a tent. Danny and Belinda were fantastic campground hosts.
