Cape Charles / Chesapeake Bay KOA Resort

I have a permanent spot here dude the ice cream lady and Nathan is a goat and I just wanna say this place is one of the best of the best I can’t even lie

A resort?...No...was just there (April 2026 for 3 nites) and was charged a resort amenities fee...there were no amenities. The pool that we were looking forward to was not even open. The beach was nice but that was it. The bathrooms were only cleaned once while we were there and they were only half done. Toilets not cleaned and toilet paper not refilled. Mirrors dirty etc. Went to do laundry and the machine stunk...had to clean the fill drawer for your detergent, as it was full of mold. Staff were pleasant at check in. Will not be returning.

the resort is not clean there are hairs on the bathroom sinks in the mens restroom and generaly not clean, and there were dead squirrels not being picked up.

This is our first time camping and Briar and his wife Cathy were wonderful. Briar actually came to our site after closing and helped us figure out our TV issues. It's hard to find someone who's willing to go above and beyond but Briar was more than willing to help. There are lots of amenities and we will definitely be back.
