This was one of those places that really captures the wild, untamed feel of the Oregon coast. The setting is stunning, dramatic cliffs, nonstop ocean views, and the historic Cape Blanco Lighthouse perched above it all. The campground is tucked among wind-shaped trees that offer a bit of shelter, but the coastal wind is definitely part of the experience. It felt quiet and uncrowded during my visit, which made it easy to relax and take in the scenery.
