The location is only a 4 because of the hill, which gives its fantastic view.

We found this place on a whim. As we came down to Salem, we caught this campground at the end of season as they were closing everything up right before we left very good campground close to Salem. Nice guy who runs the place. His name was Alan pretty spread out space. We were able to grab up front which I have to say we were pleasantly surprised on the amount of space we had. If you can get the first campground spot when you pull into the right, it is very roomy. The bathrooms were a little rugged. This has become one of our favorite campgrounds. We typically visit in October, when it is a bit quieter. Clean facilities, friendly and helpful staff. Sites are plenty spacious for our large pop up camper. Short drive to the beach or to Gloucester. Everything you need for a great camping experience and thankfully none of the glitz of resort campgrounds.

Great campground. Nice size sites. Quiet. Nice market half mile away. Really hot water for showers and 5 minutes for 25 cents was enough time. ended up turning off water. Would give 5 stars if it was easier to pull into dump stations.
