We really wanted to love our stay here but unfortunately it was not near as enjoyable as we had hoped. We got there and the campsites are so tight you can hardly back into the spots. When we extended our awning out, it almost touched our neighbors slide outs. We even had a couple that came in and decided to shove my husbands E Bike over because they felt they didn’t have enough room to turn and park and the bike in OUR site. Not theirs. Some of the staff were nice, but some were completely rude. The staff want you to follow the rules with speed limits but some of them drove extremely fast on t…
My friend is an OTR trucker. He was having an issue with his truck & for safety reasons pulled over in front of Camping On The Gulf. I want to give a shout out & say thank you to the guy who walked up to the truck to find out what was going on. Thank you for letting him stay & for telling he was safe there. You have no idea how much he appreciated it. Thank you for being kind to my friend!
I loved it. The sites were spacious with full hookups, and everything was super clean. Easy bike ride to the beach and trails. Staff was friendly and check-in was smooth.
