Come make yourself at home on our beautiful 10 acre property just up the road from the town of Mendocino. This site is only a 5 min drive to town, so it’s close to the beach, river access and local restaurants and shops.. Walk through the redwoods or enjoy the sunshine, the property offers a bit of it all! Please take a look at "some things to know" at the bottom! We have 4 different sites to choose from. 3 sites can accommodate recreational vehicles of different sizes and 1 site is just for tents. Pitch your tent under the redwoods, or in our lovely open area! Pick from one of our private zones nestled in the trees or the open space by our vertical Redwood carving! Large groups are welcome to book all 4 sites and have the property all to your self. Enjoy the cool shade of the redwoods all while being in the sunbelt just 4.5 miles from town of Mendocino! The property has tons of hang out spots! Eat lunch over at the picnic tables, stare up at the stars at our moon gazing bench, or hang out in our communal area, over by the campfire.. We also have an outdoor shower and kitchen sink area that are open to all. The property runs parallel with Mendocino state parks and has plenty of spots to explore! Our main goal is to make you feel at home! Some things to know; -The Mosquitos are back depending on time of day and wind etc. We provide repellant over on the bar, by the campfire if you need! The seasonal pond is treated with an organic, biological to prevent Larvae from growing. So there is no mosquitoes from the pond, We are in the big river water shed. -We provide garbage bins if you need, but please keep it light. Also- The property backs up to Jackson state forest, so please try to keep from throwing food waste in the garbage. The animals love it! -Cell service is very spotty onsite. -There is one communal fire pit. (NO fires at individual site) -Please remember “ pack it in pack it out” -We do our best to be good land stewards, please do the same. Thank you for your interest.

BEST CAMPSITE EVER! We are seasoned campers who have been all over the nation and this is hands down the best campsite ever. The amenities, the care- helpfulness from owners, the land itself, the location, the shower/sink, WiFi, fire pit stocked with WOOD EVEN? 10/10 every single time we come. The host is really friendly, the location is really nice for beginner campers like myself since there is a small town nearby in case you need to grab anything. The nature immersion plus the campfire made the experience a lot more fun.
What a great spot! You can tell the hosts have taken time to make this a special place! We had the place to ourselves so it felt very private, but I think it still would have if others were there because it’s so wooded. The outhouse is so clean and the outdoor shower was so cool, lots of hot water! It was rainy so we didn’t get to enjoy the fire pit area but it looked nice. The host was great, very accommodating and fast to respond. Highly recommend!
This is the best hipcamp in California. Everything has been thought out for you. Super clean facilities a wonderful communal campfire and the best hosts ever. A place of serenity I keep returning.
Everything was amazing, the place is located 10min away fron the town, however, it was totally quiet. We felt really in touch with nature. The fire pit area is amazing, the wifi (though we didn't used it) is a great extra to feel safer, the shower with views to the woods is really relaxing. I strongly recommend this place
