Camp-A-While

3rd or 4th time there, always nice stay, nice sites, great walking........the truck traffic going up and down the hill directly behind is the only bad thing....quite loud at times......great folks!!!!!

I really wanted to like this place as the owners were very friendly and helpful and the grounds seem so well maintained and enjoyable. A serious problem for me was the main road that is approximately 100 yd from the primitive campsites. Unfortunately right at that location is a steep hill and big rig truckers are constantly running throughout the night. If they're not using their Extremely Loud Jake brakes going down the hill they are very slowly climbing the hill making unbelievably loud noise. I did not get any sleep through the night. I thought I might use my earplugs but I could not sleep …

What a beautiful maintained campground. Owners are super nice. Campsites are very nice. I highly recommend this campground..

This is our 4th year staying at Camp-A-While. We ride dirt bikes and a sidexside so we spend the summers here to be close to FRO for riding. We will back again next year. We also RV full-time so we want a place to just enjoy weekly living and Camp-A-While provides that as well. It's a nice quiet campground. They have a nice pool, game room, volleyball, horseshoes and the nature trail. You can also try your luck at fishing in the pond....not sure you will catch anything to big but you know how fishing stories go 😆. The owners Rob and Michelle are so friendly.
