We stayed in the campground. Easy pull through sites for your camper. Internet is not good.
Great little campground. Power pedestals seem to be wired correctly, the sites are flat and easy to get in and out of and there's a pretty good amount of trees for shade with BBQ grills available. People are friendly and helpful with Around the clock security seen frequently. The bath house and laundry was clean and everything functional. It is quiet at night except for the occasional train whistle. There are convenience stores nearby open 24 hours.
This campground is big and clean ( well maintained ),not much to do since some places been shut down for some years, but it's like a Ghost Town. Please don't get me wrong, but if you are in need of peace and quiet this is the place for you ( wife and I got the rest we needed ) . This campground is safe for anyone. This town was once a tourist attraction, and it's still is ( it's still like a Ghost Town ). Wife and I stayed for 2 days, it was supposed to be a 1 night stay.
