Beautiful park, quiet, full hookups, great restrooms. Only negative is getting into our spot. A note should have been on the reservation not recommended for travel trailers.Thankful for my husband parking skills. Most stressful part of a six hour driving day was getting into our spot. We are 32 feet the spot says it fits rigs up to 55 feet. We were in space #170.
This has been a family favorite for years. There are many hiking trails, the Ramble Trail provided countless hours of exploration, the multiple streams and rocks engaged our children. It is a big plus that one can catch the Appalachian Trail and quickly be to one of the best shelters on the trail (Quarry gap). The campground provides many options, has excellent bathrooms.
Beautiful park. Nice RV sites, paved pads. Close enough to town but feels very remote. We'll be back again.
