We primitive came. Workers are polite and helpful.
Cades Cove is a special place that I’ve been visiting for over 30 years. However, the campground have become a disappointment. This past weekend I stayed for two nights and the bathrooms behind my campsite were filthy and lacked toilet paper the entire weekend. It is a good thing that I carry toilet paper in my truck. The stalls are covered in graffiti in both carvings and sharpie, doors are broken, urine and crap on the floor. You have two rangers riding around on golf carts making sure people are Bear compliant, but nobody can clean the bathrooms? Went to use the bathrooms by the store an…
Great campground! Quiet. The sites are a bit close, but it was very relaxing. Make sure you do the loop, black bears everywhere! Coyotes, turkeys, Bobcats, you name it, you might see it. Do the loop right after the sun comes up or an hour before sundown. PLEASE!!!! Do not stop your vehicle in the road!! That is a no-no!
This campground is wonderful. The camp store is closed until March, just fyi. No power at sites.
Clean bathrooms no water or electric hookups. Nice and peaceful stay.
