Cabin by the Pond

Host was very accommodating; games, firewood for wood stove, ice in freezer, grill outside, tackle for fishing, pool table upstairs (ripped felt but still fun.) Cabin is a short walk from two ponds both very scenic. Chairs for the living room table were a little questionable for heavier people like myself. Master bedroom mattress I felt like I sunk in a ways to but was overall not bad with the topper on it. Kitchen had all utensils needed making for a pretty relaxing weekend getaway.

Overall, it was a great experience staying at John and Michele's property with my wife and our 5-month-old! The only minus was that the room was not as clean as expected. The regular cleaning person was not available that day, and it seems her sub didn't do a good job. (but Michele and John were very responsive and attentive to this, which is appreciated) Here are the high-lights - The location is perfect for us, perfect distance to the main road (i had some bad experience in the past due to the site being to close to the main road, could be too loud) - The cabin is very well furnished, you g…

Loved Michele and John’s cabin and the property! There were 2 stocked ponds for catch-n-release and lots of places to explore. The cabin had everything you need to enjoy a relaxing stay with activities to keep you busy. Sounds weird but loved the shower as well lol! Would love to stay again if we are back out this way!

We absolutely loved Michele's place! Very cozy and clean. Our pups had the best time exploring too. We will definitely be back.

Great cabin! Peaceful, quiet, both modern and classic amenities, very cozy. Our dogs loved the pond, and lots of space to roam the property.

My family and I had a wonderful time at the cabin. We fished at the ponds multiple times a day. My dogs were able to run free and enjoy nature. One of the best experiences we have had and we did not even deep dive everything. Michele was very responsive and helpful if we needed anything. Would love to come back!
