Needed to get away. It was quite clean and peaceful.
We were passing through on a motorcycle trip. The place is small, the sites are flat and well groomed. Its a self pay and there is a full time park person. Its $14 a night and they only take exact cash so be prepared. Bathrooms are large and clean. Dont know if they had showers. I dont think so but not 100% sure.
Awesome Rockhounding towards the bridge. Flush toilets, firepit, picnic table, small shelter, pull through spots everywhere
I liked this place until you try to sleep in a tent. Very noisy all night with highway traffic. Yes it is beautiful and restrooms are nice with running water. I even seen large turtles in the water while paddle boarding. A lot of cow poop too and yes their are burros and they are loud as well.
