“Beautiful Campground, Poorly Managed Policies” Dear future campers, I highly recommend reading this before booking at Bull Run Campground. First, the positives: The layout of the sites is very convenient, especially with the water/sewer hookups arranged in a U-shape that makes pulling in and out extremely easy. The campground is open year-round and is located near several great attractions, including a waterpark, a sport shooting range, and a Christmas light drive-through (though unfortunately, campers don’t receive any discount for that). Excellent camp sites with hook ups and are spaced out nicely.
Its a nice clean campground but whyyy do they have construction at 6:30-7am every morning? I woke up to dump trucks dumping material shaking the ground like an earthquake every morning. They said it was for the holiday lights tour but 6am is not even legal to have loud construction noise in viriginia let alone at a campground charging 70$ for full hookup and $25 dump fee. I dont recommend unless you can sleep through an earthquake. If you run the campground and you read this maybe lookup the noise ordinance locally before you start a project 🤔
Nice comfortable campground. Bath houses and showers were unexpectedly being upgraded on my last visit, which was vaer inconvenient, but they are usually nice and well maintained. Hot water for showers is usually plentiful.
Mike and Cheryl here. We have a 44 foot Class A RV. Here is my review of Bull Run Campground Road to: Good. Road inside: Paved. Good. Trees: The trees looked trimmed. Check in: Large size office. Parking: Large size parking for rv Seasonal campers: There are work campers that use the full hookup sites. Some of the campers seem run down and old. Signage: Not good.
