Buckeye Lake / Columbus East KOA Holiday

My husband, sister in law and I camped the weekend. It was very nice and relaxing. The manger was very welcoming and friendly. It was clean.

We stayed here while in town for work. I loved it here! The staff was extremely friendly and always greeted us with a smile and a wave. The grounds are well kept and they were always cleaning up right away after storms. Plenty of things for kids to do! I would love to enjoy a relaxing weekend here over the summer when we aren’t working so we can soak up all their amenities. Laundry on site and always clean as well as the bathrooms. Sites are spacious and the patios were a great plus! I never felt in danger here and the area around is a really cute older lake town with a good amount of restaura…

The people are great. Really friendly. I had to add an extra day to our stay. The staff was very helpful. Park was clean. Sites were good size. Bathrooms were also nice and clean. Will recommend to other people. I will also definitely stay there again.

We stayed during off-season, in mid-February, so the park was, as expected, not full. Park office had limited hours. Some snow had begun melting, and we had some rain. The park is prone to flooding, so a good number of RV sites were not usable. We were lucky with our site. This is a nice park, but be prudent in your particular site selection - ask about it's proximity to the flood areas.
