I visited here in late October with my dad and partner, and we loved it! There were so many fun activities nearby, especially biking and hiking, and the pavilion and kitchen area made cooking easy. All of the camp hosts were lovely. We’ll definitely be back someday.
Great place located in Cortez CO not from from Mesa Verde National Park. Brandi and Kent welcomed us to the property, which is set up with campsites, teepee's and buildings placed around the property which can be rented to stay in. There is a common area with couches, fire pits, and fans, along with ping-pong, foosball tables and an awesome billiards table that her father built. You will find footballs and frisbees and multiply artistic stations stocked with supplies placed around the area to encourage creativity of all ages, I especially love the communal kitchen that is fully stocked with …
This place is awesome! I’ve stayed here twice and will definitely be back again. First time we stayed in one of the teepees. It had a queen size bed and a futon with a gas fire pit in the middle. Second time we stayed in the Yurt which had a wood burning stove. Got down to 19 degrees at night but we stayed nice and warm the whole time. They have a communal kitchen house with a pavilion full of games as well as grills for your use. Showers are rustic but hey it’s camping! Hospitality was top notch. If you’re not used to camping in a community space it can feel a bit different. Lots to do there, and Telluride is about an hour and a half away and so are the bridal veil falls. If you plan on going to Mesa Verde make sure to book your in advance because some of the areas are only accessible through tours.
I loved camping on Kent’s land! Seeing the word and dedication that has been put into this property over the years by different owners. Kent does a great job of helping campers feel welcome. The pavilion and the kitchen are awesome!!! We loved meeting Kent’s puppy Rowdy!
