Site 44 was a shady, pull through end site. The park is a mix of residents and vacationers. The dog park area is quite large with benches and hammocks. They have a beautiful vegetable garden area. The time we were there was exceptionally hot so we didn’t really explore outside the park. 110 to 113 degrees was just too much for our little dog. Other than the heat we had a nice time and would recommend this park. If there is one negative it is that there are not picnic tables.
Host was very nice and helpful, I didn’t realize when I booked it that you had to cross the street to go to the river or that the beach entry spot was so small…. The dog park was excellent and the WiFi worked great also.
All in one was it a nice place. What I didn't like was that the place were very close together.
Start with the good: Beautiful lake, nice little private dock and beach, nice dog park in the RV Park (definite plus though kids were not picking up after their dogs), our host was very nice and they had a cute community patio with Corn Hole and other games. Quite at night once the traffic dies down. There's a little store across the street for ice cream and it has a little bar and although we do not drink it looked nice. For the other: The highway does not slow down for this little lake community during the day and you have to walk or drive yourself over to the other side to access the privat…
