Blue Heron Campground and Resort

Great place. Cabins were top notch. Cant wait to go back

Great experience. We had reserved a spot across the river. The people in our spot hadn't vacated it and the campground couldn't find them or get in touch with them. They got and paid for us to have a spot at Blue Heron for a night. Got to Blue Heron and Mike was awesome! Got us a big sight backed up to the river. He helped us get backed in. He came back later and told us we could keep the spot the whole time we needed. Better site than we would have had at the other place. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that you do get some bridge noise.

First time camper at Blue Herron Campground on the White River. In a nutshell- I really like it. The campground is quite modern and well laid out. Individual sites are fantastic. The pads are level concrete with a concrete apron all around them. Making the concreted surface more than adequate. The electric and water are either quite new or really well maintained. We had a river view site that was quite spacious. The only thing better would have been a riverfront lot. Check-in was quick and friendly. I’d give them a 9.5 out of 10. The 0.5 deduction would be for the traffic noise above us, but …

The cabin and service are definitely 5 stars. My reviews save 5 stars for only those times when I am blown away. For my reviews, that is very seldom. Most places I review are good.....maybe 4 stars, but I save 5 stars for those rare instances when close to perfection is achieved. I booked this location based on photos and reviews. This will be the longest review I've ever done because there is so much good to say. Chris was very responsive and helpful from the start. We have rented prolly 100 airb&b, VRBO and others and the overall service, attention to detail and hospitality was top notch. We were blown away upon arrival to see the cabin was in immaculate condition. squeaky clean from front to back. very nice furniture and bed. what a view!!! just that alone was well worth the price. you have a view from the bottom porch, the top deck and inside the cabin. yes even inside.
