Shannon was prompt, helpful, and personable—the site is well-maintained and perfect for out-of-town tent campers. I’d highly recommend it.

We considered this camp to be a place to stop on the way to the coast, but not a destination site. The creek sounded nice from the campsite, but it was not very accessible because of a steep drop-off to the creek. The road noise from 299 was much louder than we expected. It is a busy highway at all hours of the night. If you arrive in the dark, the gated entry would be difficult to see. We drove past it in the daylight because we didn't see the Hipcamp sign until it was too late to pull over safely. Also, 299 has a lot of construction, so be prepared for stops and a much longer drive time than…

We were the only ones there so Shannon allowed us to pick whatever site we like, and we ended up with the site 4. Can’t really beat the sound of the creek. Loved the oversized portapotty, it felt and seemed as clean as possible a portapotty could be. We got some glimpses of the stars which was pretty.

Every time I come back here I fall in love even more with the area. Shannon and Tim go above and beyond as hosts. They always make me feel safe and informed. The colors right now are magical. Listening to the leaves falling on my tent is indescribable! The grass is green and the stars were beautiful. Saw the most amazing shooting star. You can not ask for a better place to relax and for me it’s a reset. Truly one of my favorite place in the world! Book it! U will not regret it

Beautiful property just off of 299. During the day you can hear cars, but it’s very quiet at night. No other campers were there during my stay, Shannon let me pick my spot. Site #3 on the end is more private and less rocky for tent camping.
