Only stayed one night at this campground. It was so packed, but there’s plenty of space between the RVs. The lake seemed really pretty and they had a nice walking track. The grounds of the RV park were very well maintained.

This review is for the large 2 bedroom cabin available to rent at the Big Woods Lake campground in Cedar Falls. We just returned from a long weekend stay at the cabin and we're very happy with the location overlooking the beautiful lake. Although the mid-April weather was not ideal we still very much enjoyed our stay and are already planning our next visit. Pros: - The location of the cabin in 5 minutes from a convenience store, restaurant, and fishing supplies store. Less than 10 minutes from beautiful downtown Cedar Falls. - You can park right next to the front door making it easy to load/u…
