Bear Brook State Park

Great place to go for adults and kids a like. Plenty to do for all. Hiking, biking, swimming, kayaking. Or, do nothing! Not usually loud, and the sites are very generous and spacious. It's communal water spickets scattered around, but bringing your own water is the best bet for not wanting to walk to a water area and carry back. I go very frequently. All in all, great place to go.

This is a very large park with many trails. It's not mountainous. I wouldn't call it hiking - more like leisurely strolls. Perfect for an easy day outside!

They gave uo on fisherman like the rest of NHF&G. Closed all parking, and want to charge you to fish. Guess 50 dollar fishing license wasn't enough to fish at stake park. Im out!!!

Booked a site for a week. Left for a few days. Came back, someone cleaned me out--my tent, mat, tarp, camp stool, and stakes. My site was next to a shower house and in line of sight of the camp store/management. No one knew a thing, when asked. Management was dumbfounded. One senior employee said she had never heard of such a thing, just as another camper entered the shop to report stolen firewood. And whomever scooped up my gear was clean about it.
