The main reason for my poor review is the stray cat problem. Our first night we went out and came back to our tent to find a cat got into it and sprayed! When letting front desk know upon departure was told there’s nothing they can do about stray cats. Well on the positive side up until that point the service was nice and the breakfast was good. Won’t be back. Definitely not my style of camping. It’s like you’re camping in a parking lot with a pool and mini golf.
When we book at KOA RV parks, we expect a clean & well run park, & we are rarely disappointed. That being said, Baton Rouge KOA exceeded all of those expectations. It may be the cleanest I have ever encountered including the bath/shower areas, laundry room, store, etc. There was also great attention to landscaping and maintenance of the pool, putt putt golf, and generously large dog park area. Each staff person I spoke with was very professional, helpful, & friendly. This is an RV park I would definitely return to in the future.
