Barn Door Hostel and Campground

We stayed in the newly built green room and had a fantastic stay! The hostel staff were very responsive and accommodating to a late scheduling change, and the facilities were so thoughtfully built and maintained. We had an opportunity to meet Dave, the founder, and really enjoyed hearing his story and passion for such an important community resource that brings people together to experience the outdoors. I have stayed a number of times Since they opened Great overall setting Big open-field,next to the river Country setting, Near rumney rock climbing area Dave is a great host , will be back Next to Plymouth ,cool college town

I’ve stayed here a few times as my base camp for hikes in the White Mountains. Love the vibes, common area, and the showers! The privacy curtains on the bunks are a nice touch too.

I stayed in the 10 men room. It was actually really well done, and the common area felt like home. People who come here and friendly and adventurous, and always down for a good conversation. Dave and his wife, Jill, are excellent hosts, and they are a cornerstone of the community. When I was there, they organized a winter film festival which showcased some really well crafted films about backcountry and telemark skiing. Absolutely awesome place.
