Cold tent this morning 21 degrees alone, but the sunrise was a Friend I needed to warn my soul.
I thought this place,would be pretty great,for free but people were so noisy,I could hear their whole conversations and camping with a dog,we needed our space.I had a bus load of college students,to camp,right next to us and even near behind our camper.Most campers or rvers knows,that's not good camping manners.Other then that it's free and the views were nice.
Phenomenal spot! We would definitely come back. - There are zero amenities and little privacy. We had a toilet in our camper so no issues for us. - No camping along the ridge and only in marked spaces. Look for the posts. - Epic sunsets and sunrises! The colors were rich and vibrant. My favorite was the teal and pink combination with the clouds. Never seen those two together! - Be mindful of your dogs. It wasn't uncommon for folks to have them off leash. If you have a protective or aggressive pooch, please consider keeping them on a leash. - High winds are not uncommon. Because we have a camp…
I spent a couple of nights here. I saw some Bighorn sheep in camp. The western meadowlarks sang their cheerful song all day. Bring the kids.
