Badger Creek Ranch is a family owned and operated working ranch high above the Arkansas Valley in Central Colorado. We take a holistic approach to ranching and land stewardship; from having good daily practices by living “off the grid,” providing healthy locally sourced food to our guests and healthy, humanely raised meat to our meat customers, and by living in harmony with nature, including our livestock and the wildlife that call the ranch their home. Our intention is to create a space that provides connection and community. This work is meant to be shared and experienced by all. We welcome you to join us and be a part of Badger Creek Ranch. Whether you want to get your hands in the dirt, take respite and recharge, or find inspiration for your own work, Badger Creek’s gate is open. We loved car camping at Badger Creek Ranch! There is a composting toilet as well as a running water toilet (and shower!). Everyone was super friendly and helpful on the ranch. We loved the dogs and horses! The morning and evening offered beautiful sunrise/sets. We will be coming back!
The ranch is beautiful! The views are fantastic and the host made us feel right at home!
Such a beautiful plot of land with amazing owners! Very hospitable and welcoming. The property can get hot during the day, so I would recommend bringing something like a pop up sun shade. Amazing stars at night and very peacefully secluded.
Wonderful place and fantastic hosts. My son and I greatly enjoyed our stay here and loved the Star-gazing. Definitely recommend.
We had a wonderful time celebrating our anniversary under the stars, with a warm fire and complete silence. The drive alone was worth the trip. We went on Sept 18th and the leaves were starting to change. Cows were on the road with their calves, just a peaceful environment. The hosts let us walk around their land and admire the rock formation and horses. Firewood was available which we appreciated. It gets cold, bring proper gear!
