AVENWOOD CABINS

Located remotely, 15 min drive to nearest town. My honey and I stay here for 2 to 3 days at a time, every few months, to escape city life. Every cabin we've stayed in has been a wonderful experience. We love Avenwood! Our favorite thing is the private hottubs for each cabin. Be sure to sign up for their text alerts for discounts on last minute bookings (cancels) and future bookings.

I absolutely recommend these cabins if you’re looking for a little getaway! The staff were responsive and checked in on us to make sure we didn’t need anything, the cabin was perfect and the view was stunning! We enjoyed using the hot tub to relax at the end of our days there. The little kitchenette worked perfectly for us and we enjoyed the one room little cabin. The grill and the fire pit were used everyday as well. It was so incredibly peaceful here! We left feeling incredibly relaxed which is just what we needed. Beautiful, very calm and peaceful.

The location was very peaceful. Other cabins nearby, but not super close. Guests were reasonably quiet. |The cabin was very clean. Definitely 5 stars for that. |The only issue was the amenities were lacking and a bit substandard. The cookware was cheap, warped and hard to use. Only very basic utensils. The coffee pot had grounds from the last guests and the charcoal grill was full of wet ashes. I would advise to leave more than salt and pepper for guests.
