Atlanta South RV Resort

Just checked out of Atlanta South RV Resort. This is probably the closest RV park to metro Atlanta. The workers at this facility were superb - kind, efficient and helpful! The bathrooms are undergoing a remodel, but the showers were clean and had a very nice shower. My spot was in the short-term, A-1, and it was ideal for walking my dog. Kudos to the staff, you're doing a great job!

Website pictures are not what you get. We were assigned Site A03. The 3rd site from the entrance. We were on the main road with traffic all day. The site was very narrow. The thin strip between sites accommodates your "campsite" as well as your neighbor's hookups. In fact our neighbor's slide was partially over our small picnic table. That said, the staff that care for the sites ride carts, show you to your site, and were friendly and helpful. The showers were clean. Being right next to I-75, you hear traffic. If we were not there for an event, we would have left early.

Sad to see so many people having to live in these RV parks that were not meant for housing families. Spots are tight and full timers have their stuff everywhere outside. Looks dumpy which surprised me because the main office and entry way is very attractive.
