We had a great weekend at Aspen Acres campground. We were one of 4 RVs in the whole park which was very relaxing. Staff was friendly and our kids loved the rec room. We went to Bishops Castle and drove over to Westcliff to see a beautiful view of the mountains.
The staff are friendly and accommodating. There was a fire ban but we were able to roast marshmallows using their gas fire on a beautiful porch with a swing. The indoor space is large with many things to do and comfy places in front of two large fireplaces. It is very close to Bishops Castle, Lake Isabel and many trails.
