Asheville East KOA Holiday

Very friendly staff and very level sites. We booked a river view site and the views are nice from inside or outside our RV. Internet has been great. Road noise from US 70 is a bit distracting but other than that, no complaints. Of course this location has been rebuilding since Hurricane Helene, but is doing a great job and the sites currently open look great. Another moment really stood out when others vacated sites, this crew was very good at going over to insure things looked correct and even wiped down the picnic tables. I can’t recall ever seeing a campground do that!

We stayed in a patio site that was plenty rommy enough for our 36' rig plus toad. The amenities are immaculate!! Everyone at the park was very helpful and kind. We will return again

This place has cleaned up nicely since Hurricane Helene came through and washed it all away. The office has a digital photo frame with pictures of the campground immediately following the storm. There are two lakes on property and the Swannanoa River flows right through the middle of the campground! We saw beaver, geese with goslings in tow, ducks with ducklings, egrets, heron, bass fish and channel catfish while here. Reportedly, there are two black bears that occasionally visit as well. Absolutely fantastic stay in our Class B. Luke and Andy were quite helpful and all the staff was great. They’re really working hard to make it special. The new bath house is very nice. Stayed right on the stream.
