It took FOREVER to find this place. No signage, GPS led us down some really bad DNR rutty road, and then to a private campground. We finally gave up. On the way home we accidentally ran into it. Drove thru the campground. Looked ok. Did the short river trail. Pretty, but tick infested. I found 3 on one of my dogs I wouldn't bother coming back..
Always beautiful in the spring.
Beautiful and quiet. Sadly our favorite area for camping was close so we had to camp in a more open place close to the road. No running water during winter. But because the the restrooms are latrines they are open.
