Americamps RV Resort & Cottages

I try never to leave a bad review however this park does not value their stop over guests. We stopped for one night on drive home from Florida. The site cost 100 dollars and obviously had not been groomed after the last guest. It was a dirt and gravel site and we spent the next morning removing nails from a tire on the trailer. Set us back 2 hours including cleaning up the nails so this didn’t happen to the next person.

Great place to stop for a night or two. Sites are not large but fine for a quick stay if you are doing something in the area. Several full time residences.

We have stayed at this Americamps location twice in the past 7 months. The “Transient” spots are nice. You have a choice between concrete and gravel sites. There is ample view of the sky for those with Starlink. Each site has full hookup, fire ring, picnic table, etc. The facility is well maintained and cared for the the staff. The personnel at the campground are friendly and very helpful. There are some nice amenities such as a dog run, pickleball court, basketball court, playground, laundry, and bath facilities along with propane sales. First time here. The staff at the front desk are pleasant. Got to our site without problems. Sites are level and clean. Walked around the park to see it. The outer row is what one would expect to see when folks are allowed to “gather stuff”. Unfortunate to see that: clutter and junk. Speeding is a constant problem in any RV park, as it is here. But the kicker is seeing teenagers walk through our site. THAT is a No-No in any park. It’s called etiquette. Not one or two but at least six. Bathrooms are clean but dated. No hand soap in the outer washrooms. I would still come back. A good overnight …

We have stayed here multiple times, great place. Quiet, clean, decent size pads. We use our camper like a hotel when here and the full hookups are nice. We will stay here again when in the area.
