Small bodies of water, bridges, unpaved surfaces and beautiful Loblolly Pine Trees. Small fee to enter, plenty of parking. The main road around the park is approximately two miles and connects well to all that's offered here. An abundance of picnic areas, clean restrooms and an area to swim (open seasonally). Overall enjoyed my visit and plan to return in the future for more hiking and running.
Its a state park . Would get 5 stars if the ponds werent so taken over with grass.. They need to put some grass carp in them and do it naturally instead of chemicals..bathroom is extremely dated but very clean.
On the smaller side comparison to other parks but still nice, clean & nature all around
Great little state park - a little swampy, a little forest, a little swimming hole. Comfortable camping spaces. Great for birding.
