Adventure Bound Camping Resorts - Washington DC

Hello RV Community, YES...I gave AB a 5 Star!!! Now, let me explain. This site is Excellent for Travelers that's in a Trade. We are enjoying the Quiet and Serenity, it works for US!! Some of the reviews are very Harsh so I had to come check it out and what I found was Hard Working People who are Very Friendly. Now..."Resort" yes it's My Resort! Maybe not what you want. This is a great place, a number of fishing spots under 7 miles. Have a rec. Room with pool table, theater area, ping pong and table hocky. There is a small library of donated books. The laundry room is always clean and you always meet someone nice there. The office has a post office and a small store. Electric and water hook ups are available as well as adventure bound wifi(spotty), a fire pit and a picnic table. They offer short and long term rentals. There are also a handful of tiny cabins that can be rented. The staff is very friendly and laid back.

My husband and I did a spur of the moment trip to Washington DC. Our camp site was absolutely spacious and beautifully located. Our dogs had room to run around. Couldn't have asked for a better spot. The staff was amazing. They gave us a lot of advice and tips for navigating the DC area. Which all came in handy during our visit. We couldn't have asked for a better place. You will not find a better place for you DC trip. They were the best priced in the area. Their sites were 40 to 60 cheaper per night than cherry Hill. The staff is nice, the amenities are decent, the park roads are horrible and narrow. This camp ground would be ok if they had the long term tenants clean up their sites, many are full of debris and scrap and makes the areas look very junky. as for service, they are good, but maintenance of this resort is lacking severely,
