It's summer of 2026 and there is no information posted about the pool? What gives? Shouldn't have to hunt for information, the website should be updated.
The state park itself is beautiful but the rangers are not accommodating to Abilene homeschool group. We meet once a week for two hours at the playground but yet we were told last week we wouldn’t be able to meet at the playground because school was there which is utterly ridiculous as we schedule our meet ups ahead of time. But the rangers are not communicating efficiently for us. I am utterly shocked and disappointed that we had it so good when I was little and homeschooled yet now my kids will not enjoy that experience when we have problems like this. I am so disappointed.
