We booked a family trip “à la Carte” via online services. We have 2 toddlers that were not going to enjoy or participate in their studio activities, so we thought this was a great option to have. We were staying at a lodge with 8 occupancy, this was a stripped down, no linen, no towels booking and we were not participating in any activities on premises besides the “free playground and walking trails”. The owner of this resort was rude and unwelcoming. Terrible business ethics!!! She surprised us with additional charges and made it out as if we were trying to get one over on her. It’s unfortunate that she was so terrible and money hungry because the grounds were nice. We booked a family trip “à la Carte” via her online services. My husband and I have been going to stay again this year- it will be our fifth annual visit- we love it! Peaceful, relaxing and plenty to do.
