We had a great experience staying at the A Lodge tent site. The spot felt peaceful, secluded, and safe, especially with a few permanent camper trailers on the property. The location is fantastic, only about 15 minutes from Salida Colorado, making it super convenient for exploring local activities. The amenities building (bathrooms, hot showers, and laundry) was a bit of a walk from our spot, especially on snowy nights or rainy days, so we ended up driving there most of the time. The bathrooms were basic but impressively clean, and the hot showers were a huge plus after a long day out. The host…
It was a very good weekend tenting here. The A-Lodge team was very supportive and had consistent communications for all our needs. I highly recommend this area if you enjoy hikes, going to remote fishing spots, or just enjoy downtown Salida.
