This spot was great!! Came to celebrate a birthday and it was a perfect getaway.
A few notes for people considering this place: - the site sits at a very steep terrain - the bathroom is at the top site - going to the bottom site and creek is a short hike - the creek is beautiful with clear water - the land is pretty, you ll be surrounded by trees and tall redwoods - the land is filled with poison oak, especially close to the creek if you plan on exploring it - we had a bit of a challenging experience as the water pump was not working, so we couldn't use the bathroom/ shower (I am sure the owner, who was very responsive throughout the process will fix it). - although the…
We loved camp hoppy! It was a beautiful space, clean, open with plenty of land for the dogs to run around in. The creek was a short hike down and we had a great time in the water. It was a hot weekend for May but the redwoods at the campsite provided adequate shade and it was a lot cooler than expected.
Great spot! Loved getting into the river and hanging around the property. Some good platforms for sleeping on. One note; the yurt by the river has seen better days and we opted not to sleep in it. Otherwise, a beautiful and tranquil spot in a perfect location.
Camp Hoppy was fantastic! There was a lot of area for our kids to explore around, including going down to the creek on the property. The kids also got a kick out of picking a few blackberries!
