Situated in the rustic town of Dolan Springs AZ, just off iconic Route 66!!! There is so much to see and do at nearby Lake Mead and Joshua Tree National Parks, Colorado River, Grand Canyon West, Hoover Dam, and of course the 24 hour town that is Las Vegas !!!

We were expecting to be alone on this trip but we misunderstood the listing. Even though this was the case, we had incredible hosts and still had a lovely time . The home and nature all around us was beautiful. Our hosts Carey and Karen were very nice and helpful with anything we needed and we still had privacy. They gave us great options for things to do in the area and very nice local spots in nature.
Beautiful spot near Dolan Springs trailhead. Short drive off main road.
Well, the positives are the nice helpful host and an indoor bathroom/water/toilet which is hard to find in this area. As to the property? It was not as described and was undeveloped with barely room for us. We followed the directions on Hipcamp which led us to the owner’s prior property. As far as being close to highway 66, that is a bit inaccurate. It was barely close to Hwy 93 . This property has possibilities but I recommend folks wait for 6 months or so until it can be more developed. I wish Thomas well in this endeavor.
